Hello Martha’s Guest,
If you are reading this, it is because you often walk to and from Martha’s to receive your monthly food order. We want to serve you and your family better, and explain some changes in how we will be distributing food orders to our walking guests, beginning Dec 2, 2026,
ORDER OPTION CHOICE
When you come to Martha’s in December, you will have the option to receive one of two different food order options.
1. Your usual order as you have always received it, according to your family size
2. A more compact “Walker” order, provided in a large reusable bag with handles, designed to be carried. This order will contain the following:
· 1 non-perishables bag (items may fluctuate according to available supply)
· 1 standard meat bag (1 chicken package, plus ground turkey and/or hamburger)
· 1 standard dairy bag (eggs, milk and cheese as available)
· Your choice of the available produce items in stock
· Extras and personal goods as they are available
You may choose either option, but the important thing to remember is that:
Beginning on December 2, walking guests will no longer be permitted to sort through and choose which items they want to keep, and which items they wish to return.
When your ticket order is completed and your order is handed to you, you must take everything in the order and exit the pantry area in a timely fashion.
You may choose the full amount of food you usually receive or the walker bag, but whichever order you choose, you must accept and exit with ALL of the food. There can be no sorting, no removing, and no returning of food on site, at the bus stop, or down the street.
We will do everything we can to always provide you with the healthiest food we possibly can, but the amount of waste that occurs with the sorting, removing and returning of food is no longer manageable.
THE REGISTRATION LOCATION WILL CHANGE
We will now be serving our walking guests on the two benches in the grassy area of the pantry closest to the large school. This is where you will go when you arrive to check in, and this is where where your food will be brought to you when your order is completed.
NUMBER OF ORDERS
Some of our guests pickup up orders for their friends and neighbors, and we want to continue to make that possible. However, it can be overwhelming to our operation, and therefore, beginning on December 2, walker guests may pick up a maximum of two (2) orders per visit; your order and one (1) additional order, if you are designated to pick up on behalf of a friend or family member.
To be clear: No guest may pick up more than two (2) orders at their visit.

WALKER GUEST NEW RULES
Beginning Wednesday, December 2, 2026
1. When you arrive, please come to the two benches located closest to the school
2. You may choose which type of order you prefer
a. Choose either Full Order or Walker Bag
3. Once you receive your order (with either choice); no sorting, no removing, and no returning of goods will be permitted
4. You must take everything provided in your chosen order and exit pantry campus immediately upon receiving your order
5. Specific order requests will be honored as available
6. You may pick up a maximum of two (2) orders; your order and, if you are designated to pick up on behalf of a friend or family member, one (1) additional order
7. You may change your order preference at any time, as long as rules #3 and #4 are followed
8. For Safety: No one is permitted to enter the distribution area located within the driveway
9. For Safety: Children must stay with their parents and are not permitted to play in or near the road or distribution area.
10. Failure to follow these rules may result in not being able to receive food from Martha’s
